Mo Character Development

.....Just a continuation of the post from yesterday. It's stressful designing these characters because I know I may use them for my thesis!? So I figure I'll just explore as many possibilities as I can. I can use help from you guys on pointing out the more succesful designs and/or shapes so let me know! Thanks!

Hey Francis - it's Cat (I got to your blog through a bunch of other blogs..) Your designs look great and I'd love to offer comments - but first could you tell us more about what you're going for? Who the characters are, etc.

Hey Francis, I was just browsing and I found your blog also. You have some really cool designs. I tried commenting earlier, but I don't think it went through. Anyway, I like the top page (the one with the three guys colored)---the centered colored one. He seems the most foreign, and has that bit of snobbyness that I picture with that character. I like the second page guy, but he seems a little too friendly or laid back for the situation. He does have an 'artist' look to him though. Well, keep up the good work. I don't know if you got to it, but here's that smiles short I was telling you about earlier in class:

(it's on the "Overview" page; the very first image on the top. It's a cute commercial for the national lottery. It has characters putting smiles on others so that's what reminded me of it. Anyway, see ya in class soon.)
