head study sketches!

Hey guys! Kind of exciting post here. These sketches are for a job that I am greatly excited about. I should be able to post the final when I have the go ahead. The last pic is from my favorite corner of my room....books and paintings. The Mt. Rushmore piece is about 80% done. The abstract piece is the beginning of a collabo with Michael Carpenter. I still have to do my part.

I am also trying out a new feature.

If you click the play button above on the GrandCentral player below you can here me commenting about the images in this specific post. I'm going to try and do this from now on. Let me know if you like it. You can also leave me messages on this "web phone" at 941-312-2748. Sorry that it cuts off...I guess you only get 3 minutes.

take care,
-francis

Mount Rushmore is looking pretty snazzy. Seeing some of those Fechin pages would be a real treat. Alex Henekey and I have been fighting over the one Fechin book that was available in the library. Great stuff, man. Really great stuff. Definately going to do some master studies from Fechin. Keep up the great work, can't wait to see the Rushmore piece finished!

Hah! Love it,
I can see that becoming a radio show with music and a jingle! Welcome to the imagination of FRANCIS...ding-ding-dong-ding. Maybe I've missed this already, but are you using graphite sticks or pencils to draw these? Your rocking hard man, good luck with the freelance.

Hey Francis! These are cool drawings man! I like listening to your comments about the pieces, what a great feature. You are inspiring sir. Also, what a wonderful idea to talk a little about your influences and art "heros". Fechin is awesome.
