Tata Gala!!

Finally! a new post. Sorry. Posts should be coming with a higher frequency from now on.
But these drawings are for the 2nd annual Tata Gala held at Digital 3 Gallery this Friday. The event is literally about breasts with much of the proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Cancer foundation. It is mainly helmed by my buddy Erik Jones so you know its going to be a top notch event! I mainly used the show as an excuse to give my new Kolinksy brushes a test drive. My teacher George Pratt really recommended them.....and whoah!!! they are amazing to work with. I can definitely feel and see a difference in my line work. Luckily I got them in time and will be using them on my comic (more on that real soon).

all the best!

Yo Francis! How goes it my friend?! Great work man... I love the ones with minimal line work at the bottom! Cool stuff.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm sorry I've been such a lousy blogger as of late. I just haven't been making the time to come around and visit with everyone.

Your work is really amazing. In a way, it's like Old School, but new. There aren't a whole lotta guys that still put pen to paper, and you're doing it. You also have the energy and youthful perspective mixed in with that old school approach.

What I'm trying to say is what Aleta said so succinctly, "You Rock!"

I love the design and rhythm of these. You have a certain looseness and energy to your work that I admire.
