808's and Heartbreak

I did this doodle after being inspired by the bits and pieces I've heard of Kanye's new album. At first I wasn't too sure about the direction he's going in. But don't we as artists experiment too? If we did the same thing all the time it would get stale. So I can understand what 'Ye is doing, and if anything I can tell he means what he says, which is a rare thing these days.

best,
-francis

Love this sketch Francis!

I havent heard any of the new Kanye yet, but I concur, I do like that he's trying new things, except for the TPain voice modulationy thing. GAHHH!

cool sketch man! I dig it

I just got passed the album today.

Love lockdown and Paranoid are the gems, everything else is cool.

did you make the deadline for Popgun?

'Ye is making what he thinks would equate to a "classic" album. I think it is waaaaay more pop than anything else, and electro/house dance music has infiltrated every thing about rap at the moment. Hence, the auto-tuner voice effect.

Keep it up

you have some amazing work here!

I find kanye jumps on all trends to sell his records, like when he jumped the stage and insulted justice about winning the best video over him, his next video copied the style exactly!
